TARBERT
NS has recently received a certificate acknowledging the school
as a Southern Health Board-promoting school. The cake sale on Friday,
run by 4th and 5th class pupils and their teacher Mrs O’Connell, was
in aid of Mother Teresas Orphanages in Calcutta. Any parishioner who
may still wish to be associated with this worthy cause may do so through
pupils or staff. Congratulations to Sean Finucane, senior infants,
who was placed 2nd and Fionan Kissane, also in senior infants, who
was placed 3rd in a recent colouring competition to mark the opening
of Woodies DIY Store in Tralee. Well done Sean and Fionan. |
